"I had a stroke that affected my left side, which left me immobile and confined to a lift chair. We were referred to iMove therapist Jimmie Wilson, who told us about the Loan Closet. We were able to borrow a sit-to-stand and a transfer board. Prior to this, I had not stood for 8 months. Over about six weeks I progressed to a walker, and now I'm walking with a cane, transferring myself in and out of the car and shower, and starting to cook again."
